I like to occasionally take a look around and assess my progress – my writing goals, projects, personal junk, everything. Every few months keeps me on track and what better time to get into the nitty-gritty details than in the new year?
First, I must say this: can you BELIEVE it’s 2020? 😮😮😮 Not sure how that snuck up on me, but here we are. Wow. 2020. We’re officially out of our teens. Crazy.
I’ve made some moves at the end of last year to streamline my Facebook page and get into good habits posting on my blog. I’ve been horrible about keeping up, but that’s all changed. If you follow my Facebook page, you’ll notice regular posts. I’m trying to share something at least once a day. Things I find funny or clever, fascinating or weird. Hopefully, you will enjoy them as much as I do (and if you do, we can be great friends! lol). Go ahead and comment on the posts – I’ll see them and respond. Some of you have already made me laugh with your hilarious responses, or gave me the feels. 😍 Same goes for my blog. Except for Christmas break (which I desperately needed), I’ve made a commitment to share one post a week. Most of them will be stories for you to enjoy! At least, I sincerely hope you will. 😉
I’ve also signed on to be an affiliate for the different programs and sites I adore (like Amazon!!). I promise I won’t be pushing a bunch of junk your way, but it’s a way for me to wrack up the pennies (and I mean that literally, lol) to help pay for my website and publishing costs. So if you click on my book links here on my site, Amazon will tack on a few dimes to my royalties and all I can say is that every single cent of that will help! All my links on here that earn me either a commission or store credit will be labeled with something like “#ad” or “#affiliate” or just say “affiliate link.” That way we are all perfectly clear about that and nobody feels like I’m making a sleazy move. Transparency is extremely important to me. So if you want to purchase something and use one of my links… thank you, thank you, thank you. It costs you nothing to do so, and you may find I have found a way to get you a great sales price or discount (some of these affiliate places give me discount codes and head’s up on sales!!!). That is a WIN-WIN and I love that!
As for my books – I absolutely can’t wait to release my fourth and final in Lia Rector’s series. I have plans for other books about the other characters you know and love – although you’ll still see plenty of characters you love to hate, too! Be on the lookout for Praelia Nox to release by Spring 2020. I would love for it to hit the shelves in February, but the way some of the places I register my book work, it may not be processed in time. That means March. If I recall correctly, my first in series print book released on March 1. That can be cool timing if it makes it!! Regardless, you will see it soon and I’m dying to hear what you have to say. The other books still need to be written. My goal is to have at least book one in the Armageddon’s Ward Companion Series out before the year is up! Check out the sidebar and sign up for my newsletter if you would like to hear from me when the book releases (not to mention giveaways!!).
Thanks so much for all of your support, feedback, and laughs!! You all keep me going and truly inspire me.
